कामाख्या मंदिर असम

कामाख्या मंदिर असम की राजधानी दिसपुर के पास गुवाहाटी से ८ किलोमीटर दूर कामाख्या में है। कामाख्या से भी १० किलोमीटर दूर नीलाचल पव॑त पर स्थित है। यह मंदिर शक्ति की देवी सती का मंदिर है। यह मंदिर एक पहाड़ी पर बना है  व इसका महत् तांत्रिक महत्व है। प्राचीन काल से सतयुगीन तीर्थ कामाख्या वर्तमान में तंत्र सिद्धि का सर्वोच्च स्थल है। पूर्वोत्तर के मुख्य द्वार कहे जाने वाले असम राज्य की राजधानी दिसपुर से 6 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित नीलांचल अथवा नीलशैल पर्वतमालाओं पर स्थित मां भगवती कामाख्या का सिद्ध शक्तिपीठ सती के इक्यावन शक्तिपीठों में सर्वोच्च स्थान रखता है। यहीं भगवती की महामुद्रा (योनि-कुण्ड) स्थित है। ये अष्टादश महाशक्तिपीठ स्तोत्र के अन्तर्गत है जो आदि शंकराचार्यने लिखा था।देश भर मे अनेकों सिद्ध स्थान है जहाँ माता सुक्ष्म स्वरूप मे निवास करती है प्रमुख महाशक्तिपीठों मे माता कामाख्या का यह मंदिर सुशोभित है हिंगलाज की भवानी, कांगड़ा की ज्वालामुखी, सहारनपुर की शाकम्भरी देवी, विन्ध्याचल की विन्ध्यावासिनी देवी आदि महान शक्तिपीठ श्रद्धालुओं के आकर्षण का केंद्र एवं तंत्र- मंत्र, योग-साधना के सिद्ध स्थान है। यहाँ मान्यता है, कि जो भी बाहर से आये भक्तगण जीवन में तीन बार दर्शन कर लेते हैं उनके सांसारिक भव बंधन से मुक्ति मिल जाती है । " या देवी सर्व भूतेषू मातृ रूपेण संस्थिता नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम: ।

अम्बुवाची पर्व
विश्व के सभी तांत्रिकों, मांत्रिकों एवं सिद्ध-पुरुषों के लिये वर्ष में एक बार पड़ने वाला अम्बूवाची योग पर्व वस्तुत एक वरदान है। यह अम्बूवाची पर्व भगवती (सती) का रजस्वला पर्व होता है। पौराणिक शास्त्रों के अनुसार सतयुग में यह पर्व 16 वर्ष में एक बार, द्वापर में 12 वर्ष में एक बार, त्रेता युग में 7 वर्ष में एक बार तथा कलिकाल में प्रत्येक वर्ष जून माह (आषाढ़) में तिथि के अनुसार मनाया जाता है। यह एक प्रचलित धारणा है कि देवी कामाख्या मासिक धर्म चक्र के माध्यम से तीन दिनों के लिए गुजरती है, इन तीन दिनों के दौरान, कामाख्या मंदिर के द्वार श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बंद कर दिए जाते हैं।[4] इस बार अम्बूवाची योग पर्व जून की 22, 23, 24 तिथियों में मनाया गया।

पौराणिक सन्दर्भ
पौराणिक सत्य है कि अम्बूवाची पर्व के दौरान माँ भगवती रजस्वला होती हैं और मां भगवती की गर्भ गृह स्थित महामुद्रा (योनि-तीर्थ) से निरंतर तीन दिनों तक जल-प्रवाह के स्थान से रक्त प्रवाहित होता है। यह अपने आप में, इस कलिकाल में एक अद्भुत आश्चर्य का विलक्षण नजारा है। कामाख्या तंत्र के अनुसार -

योनि मात्र शरीराय कुंजवासिनि कामदा।
रजोस्वला महातेजा कामाक्षी ध्येताम सदा॥
शरणागतदिनार्त परित्राण परायणे ।
सर्वस्याति हरे देवि नारायणि नमोस्तु ते ।।

इस बारे में `राजराजेश्वरी कामाख्या रहस्य' एवं `दस महाविद्याओं' नामक ग्रंथ के रचयिता एवं मां कामाख्या के अनन्य भक्त ज्योतिषी एवं वास्तु विशेषज्ञ डॉ॰ दिवाकर शर्मा ने बताया कि अम्बूवाची योग पर्व के दौरान मां भगवती के गर्भगृह के कपाट स्वत ही बंद हो जाते हैं और उनका दर्शन भी निषेध हो जाता है। इस पर्व की महत्ता का अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि पूरे विश्व से इस पर्व में तंत्र-मंत्र-यंत्र साधना हेतु सभी प्रकार की सिद्धियाँ एवं मंत्रों के पुरश्चरण हेतु उच्च कोटियों के तांत्रिकों-मांत्रिकों, अघोरियों का बड़ा जमघट लगा रहता है। तीन दिनों के उपरांत मां भगवती की रजस्वला समाप्ति पर उनकी विशेष पूजा एवं साधना की जाती है।

कामाख्या मन्दिर परिसर
कामाख्या के शोधार्थी एवं प्राच्य विद्या विशेषज्ञ डॉ॰ दिवाकर शर्मा कहते हैं कि कामाख्या के बारे में किंवदंती है कि घमंड में चूर असुरराज नरकासुर एक दिन मां भगवती कामाख्या को अपनी पत्नी के रूप में पाने का दुराग्रह कर बैठा था। कामाख्या महामाया ने नरकासुर की मृत्यु को निकट मानकर उससे कहा कि यदि तुम इसी रात में नील पर्वत पर चारों तरफ पत्थरों के चार सोपान पथों का निर्माण कर दो एवं कामाख्या मंदिर के साथ एक विश्राम-गृह बनवा दो, तो मैं तुम्हारी इच्छानुसार पत्नी बन जाऊँगी और यदि तुम ऐसा न कर पाये तो तुम्हारी मौत निश्चित है। गर्व में चूर असुर ने पथों के चारों सोपान प्रभात होने से पूर्व पूर्ण कर दिये और विश्राम कक्ष का निर्माण कर ही रहा था कि महामाया के एक मायावी कुक्कुट (मुर्गे) द्वारा रात्रि समाप्ति की सूचना दी गयी, जिससे नरकासुर ने क्रोधित होकर मुर्गे का पीछा किया और ब्रह्मपुत्र के दूसरे छोर पर जाकर उसका वध कर डाला। यह स्थान आज भी `कुक्टाचकि' के नाम से विख्यात है। बाद में मां भगवती की माया से भगवान विष्णु ने नरकासुर असुर का वध कर दिया। नरकासुर की मृत्यु के बाद उसका पुत्र भगदत्त कामरूप का राजा बना। भगदत्त का वंश लुप्त हो जाने से कामरूप राज्य छोटे-छोटे भागों में बंट गया और सामंत राजा कामरूप पर अपना शासन करने लगा।

नरकासुर के नीच कार्यों के बाद एवं विशिष्ट मुनि के अभिशाप से देवी अप्रकट हो गयी थीं और कामदेव द्वारा प्रतिष्ठित कामाख्या मंदिर ध्वंसप्राय हो गया था।

पं. दिवाकर शर्मा ने बतलाया कि आद्य-शक्ति महाभैरवी कामाख्या के दर्शन से पूर्व महाभैरव उमानंद, जो कि गुवाहाटी शहर के निकट ब्रह्मपुत्र 'नद' के मध्य भाग में टापू के ऊपर स्थित है, का दर्शन करना आवश्यक है। यह एक प्राकृतिक शैलदीप है, जो तंत्र का सर्वोच्च सिद्ध सती का शक्तिपीठ है। इस टापू को मध्यांचल पर्वत के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, क्योंकि यहीं पर समाधिस्थ सदाशिव को कामदेव ने कामबाण मारकर आहत किया था और समाधि से जाग्रत होने पर सदाशिव ने उसे भस्म कर दिया था। भगवती के महातीर्थ (योनिमुद्रा) नीलांचल पर्वत पर ही कामदेव को पुन जीवनदान मिला था। इसीलिए यह क्षेत्र कामरूप के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

सर्वोच्च कौमारी तीर्थ
सती स्वरूपिणी आद्यशक्ति महाभैरवी कामाख्या तीर्थ विश्व का सर्वोच्च कौमारी तीर्थ भी माना जाता है। इसीलिए इस शक्तिपीठ में कौमारी-पूजा अनुष्ठान का भी अत्यन्त महत्व है। यद्यपि आद्य-शक्ति की प्रतीक सभी कुल व वर्ण की कौमारियाँ होती हैं। किसी जाति का भेद नहीं होता है। इस क्षेत्र में आद्य-शक्ति कामाख्या कौमारी रूप में सदा विराजमान हैं।

इस क्षेत्र में सभी वर्ण व जातियों की कौमारियां वंदनीय हैं, पूजनीय हैं। वर्ण-जाति का भेद करने पर साधक की सिद्धियां नष्ट हो जाती हैं। शास्त्रों में वर्णित है कि ऐसा करने पर इंद्र तुल्य शक्तिशाली देव को भी अपने पद से वंछित होना पड़ा था।

जिस प्रकार उत्तर भारत में कुंभ महापर्व का महत्व माना जाता है, ठीक उसी प्रकार उससे भी श्रेष्ठ इस आद्यशक्ति के अम्बूवाची पर्व का महत्व है। इसके अंतर्गत विभिन्न प्रकार की दिव्य आलौकिक शक्तियों का अर्जन तंत्र-मंत्र में पारंगत साधक अपनी-अपनी मंत्र-शक्तियों को पुरश्चरण अनुष्ठान कर स्थिर रखते हैं।और यही वक्त होता है जब विश्व के सबसे प्राचीनतम तंत्र मठ(चीनाचारी)आगम मठ के विशिष्ट तांत्रिक अपनी साधना करने तिब्बत से यहाँ आते है इस पर्व में मां भगवती के रजस्वला होने से पूर्व गर्भगृह स्थित महामुद्रा पर सफेद वस्त्र चढ़ाये जाते हैं, जो कि रक्तवर्ण हो जाते हैं। मंदिर के पुजारियों द्वारा ये वस्त्र प्रसाद के रूप में श्रद्धालु भक्तों में विशेष रूप से वितरित किये जाते हैं। इस पर्व पर भारत ही नहीं बल्कि बंगलादेश, तिब्बत और अफ्रीका जैसे देशों के तंत्र साधक यहां आकर अपनी साधना के सर्वोच्च शिखर को प्राप्त करते हैं। वाममार्ग साधना का तो यह सर्वोच्च पीठ स्थल है। मछन्दरनाथ, गोरखनाथ, लोनाचमारी, ईस्माइलजोगी इत्यादि तंत्र साधक भी सांवर तंत्र में अपना यहीं स्थान बनाकर अमर हो गये हैं।

कामाख्या मंदिर मे योनि(गर्भ) की पूजा
पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार जब देवी सती अपने योगशक्ति से अपना देह त्याग दी तो भगवान शिव उनको लेकर घूमने लगे उसके बाद भगवान विष्णु अपने चक्र से उनका देह काटते गए तो नीलाचल पहाड़ी में भगवती सती की योनि (गर्भ) गिर गई, और उस योनि (गर्भ) ने एक देवी का रूप धारण किया, जिसे देवी कामाख्या कहा जाता है। योनी (गर्भ) वह जगह है जहां बच्चे को 9 महीने तक पाला जाता है और यहीं से बच्चा इस दुनिया में प्रवेश करता है। और इसी को सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति का कारण माना जाता है। भक्त यहां देवी सती की गिरी हुई योनि (गर्भ) की पूजा करने के लिए आते हैं जो देवी कामाख्या के रूप में हैं और दुनिया के निर्माण और पालन-पोषण के कारण देवी सती के गर्भ की पूजा करते हैं। जिस प्रकार मनुष्य अपने माँ की योनि (गर्भ) से जन्म लेता है, लोगो की मान्यता है उसी प्रकार जगत की माँ देवी सती की योनि से संसार की उत्पत्ति हुई है जो कामाख्या देवी के रूप में है।

कामाख्या मंदिर का समय
कामाख्या मंदिर के दर्शन का समय भक्तों के लिए सुबह 8:00 बजे से दोपहर 1:00 बजे तक और फिर दोपहर 2:30 बजे से शाम 5:30 बजे तक शुरू होता है। सामान्य प्रवेश नि: शुल्क है, लेकिन भक्त सुबह 5 बजे से कतार बनाना शुरू कर देते हैं, इसलिए यदि किसी के पास समय है तो इस विकल्प पर जा सकते हैं। आम तौर पर इसमें 3-4 घंटे लगते हैं। वीआईपी प्रवेश की एक टिकट लागत है, जिसे मंदिर में प्रवेश करने के लिए भुगतान करना पड़ता है, जो कि प्रति व्यक्ति रुपए 501 की लागत पर उपलब्ध है। इस टिकट से कोई भी सीधे मुख्य गर्भगृह में प्रवेश कर सकता है और 10 मिनट के भीतर पवित्र दर्शन कर सकता है।

 

The Kamakhya Temple is in Kamakhya, 8 km from Guwahati, near Dispur, the capital of Assam. It is situated on the Nilachal mountain, 10 kilometers away from Kamakhya. This temple is the temple of Sati, the goddess of power. This temple is built on a hill and has great tantric significance. Since ancient times, the Golden Age pilgrimage Kamakhya is the highest place of Tantra Siddhi at present. Siddha Shaktipeeth of Maa Bhagwati Kamakhya, situated at a distance of 6 kilometers from Dispur, the capital of the state of Assam, which is called the main gate of Northeast, on the Nilanchal or Neelshail ranges, holds the highest position among the fifty-one Shaktipeeths of Sati. This is where Bhagwati's Mahamudra (vagina-kund) is located. This Ashtadasha Maha Shaktipeeth is under the Stotra which was written by Adi Shankaracharya. There are many proven places across the country where Mother resides in a subtle form. Among the major Maha Shaktipeeths, this temple of Mother Kamakhya is decorated Bhavani of Hinglaj, Jwalamukhi of Kangra, Shakambhari Devi of Saharanpur. Great Shaktipeeths like Vindhyavasini Devi of Vindhyachal etc. are centers of attraction for devotees and proven places for Tantra-Mantra, Yoga-Sadhana. Ambuvachi festival
The Ambuvachi Yoga festival held once a year is actually a boon for all the Tantriks, Mantriks and Siddha-men of the world. This Ambuvachi festival is the Rajaswala festival of Bhagwati (Sati). According to mythology, this festival is celebrated once in 16 years in Satyuga, once in 12 years in Dwapar, once in 7 years in Treta Yuga and every year in Kalikal according to the date in the month of June (Ashadha). It is a popular belief that Goddess Kamakhya passes through the menstrual cycle for three days, during these three days, the doors of the Kamakhya temple are closed to devotees.[4] Celebrated on 22, 23, 24 dates.

Mythological references
Mythological truth is that during the Ambuvachi festival Maa Bhagwati is menstruating and blood flows from the place of water-flow continuously for three days from Mahamudra (vagina-pilgrimage) located in the sanctum sanctorum of Maa Bhagwati. This in itself is a unique sight of a wonderful wonder in this Kalikal. According to Kamakhya Tantra -

Yoni maatr shariiraay kunjavaasini kaamadaa.
Rajosvalaa mahaatejaa kaamaakshii dhyetaam sadaa॥
Sharaṇaagatadinaart paritraaṇ paraayaṇe .
Sarvasyaati hare devi naaraayaṇi namostu te ..

In this regard, astrologer and Vastu expert Dr. Diwakar Sharma, the author of the book named 'Rajrajeshwari Kamakhya Rahasya' and 'Das Mahavidyas' and an ardent devotee of Maa Kamakhya, said that during the Ambuvachi Yoga festival, the doors of the sanctum sanctorum of Maa Bhagwati would automatically close. are there and their darshan also becomes prohibited. The importance of this festival can be gauged from the fact that in this festival, there is a large gathering of Tantriks-Mantriks, Aghoris of high ranks from all over the world for Tantra-Mantra-Yantra Sadhna for all kinds of achievements and chanting of mantras. . After three days, at the end of Maa Bhagwati's Rajaswala, her special worship and meditation is done.

Kamakhya Temple Complex
Dr. Diwakar Sharma, researcher and orientalist of Kamakhya, says that there is a legend about Kamakhya that Asuraraj Narakasura who was proud of Kamakhya, one day was obstinate to get Maa Bhagwati Kamakhya as his wife. Kamakhya Mahamaya, considering the death of Narakasura to be near, told him that if you build four steps of stones all around the Neel mountain in this night and make a rest house with Kamakhya temple, then I will become your wife as per your wish. And if you fail to do so, then your death is certain. The proud asura completed the four steps of the path before dawn and was building the rest room when an illusory chicken (rooster) of Mahamaya informed about the end of the night, which enraged Narakasura and chased the rooster. And went to the other end of the Brahmaputra and killed him. This place is still known as 'Kuktachaki'. Later Lord Vishnu killed Narakasura asura by the illusion of Maa Bhagwati. After the death of Narakasura, his son Bhagadatta became the king of Kamarupa. Due to the disappearance of Bhagdatta's dynasty, the state of Kamrup was divided into small parts and the feudal king started ruling Kamrup.

After the vile actions of Narakasura and the curse of a specific sage, the goddess had disappeared and the Kamakhya temple consecrated by Kamadeva was destroyed.

Pt. Diwakar Sharma told that before having darshan of Adya-Shakti Mahabhairavi Kamakhya, it is necessary to have darshan of Mahabhairav Umanand, which is located on top of the island in the middle part of Brahmaputra 'river' near Guwahati city. This is a natural rock lamp, which is the highest Siddha of Tantra, the Shaktipeeth of Sati. This island is also known as Madhyanchal Parvat, because it was here that Sadashiv, who was in samadhi, was hurt by Kamadeva by shooting him with an arrow and when Sadashiv woke up from samadhi, he was reduced to ashes. Kamdev was given life again on Nilanchal mountain, the Mahatirtha (Yonimudra) of Bhagwati. That is why this area is also known as Kamrup.

Supreme Virgin Shrine
Sati Swaroopini Adyashakti Mahabhairavi Kamakhya pilgrimage is also considered to be the highest virgin pilgrimage in the world. That's why the virginity-worship ritual is also very important in this Shaktipeeth. Although the symbol of primal power is the virgins of all clans and castes. There is no distinction of any caste. In this area, the proto-power Kamakhya always resides in the form of a virgin.

In this area, virgins of all castes and castes are worshipable. The achievements of the seeker are destroyed when there is a distinction between caste and caste. It is described in the scriptures that even a powerful god like Indra had to be deprived of his post by doing this.

Just as the importance of the Kumbh Mahaparva is considered in North India, in the same way the importance of the Ambuvachi festival of this Adyashakti is even greater than that. Under this acquisition of different types of divine supernatural powers, devotees who are well-versed in Tantra-Mantra keep their respective mantra-powers stable by performing Purascharan rituals. People come here from Tibet to do their spiritual practice. In this festival, white clothes are offered on the Mahamudra located in the sanctum sanctorum before the menstruation of Maa Bhagwati, which becomes bloody. These clothes are specially distributed among the devotees in the form of prasad by the priests of the temple. On this festival, not only India but tantra seekers from countries like Bangladesh, Tibet and Africa come here to attain the highest peak of their spiritual practice. This is the highest seat of Vammarg Sadhana. Tantra seekers like Machhandarnath, Gorakhnath, Lonachamari, Ismailjogi etc. have also become immortal by making their place here in Sanwar Tantra.

Worship of Yoni (Womb) in Kamakhya Temple
According to the legend, when Goddess Sati left her body due to her yogic power, Lord Shiva started roaming around with her, after that Lord Vishnu kept cutting her body with his Chakra, then Bhagwati Sati's vagina (womb) fell in Nilachal hill, and that vagina ( Garbha) assumed the form of a goddess, called Goddess Kamakhya. Yoni (womb) is the place where the child is nurtured for 9 months and it is from here that the child enters this world. And this is considered to be the reason for the origin of the universe. Devotees come here to worship the fallen yoni (womb) of Goddess Sati who is in the form of Goddess Kamakhya and to worship the womb of Goddess Sati who is the cause of creation and sustenance of the world. Just as a man takes birth from his mother's vagina (womb), it is the belief of the people, similarly the world originated from the vagina of Goddess Sati, the mother of the world who is in the form of Kamakhya Devi.

Kamakhya temple timings
The darshan timings of Kamakhya temple start from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the devotees and again from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. General entry is free, but devotees start queuing up as early as 5 am, so one can go for this option if they have time. Generally it takes 3-4 hours. VIP entry is a ticket cost that has to be paid to enter the temple, which is available at a cost of INR 501 per person. With this ticket one can directly enter the main sanctum sanctorum and have holy darshan within 10 minutes
