क्यों बनी मां लक्ष्मी नौकरानी

बैकुण्ड धाम में बड़ा ही मनोरम दृश्य था 
माता लक्ष्मी प्रभु नारायण के साथ शेषनाग पर विराजमान थी
और अलग अलग लोको की चर्चा कर रहे थे,
तभी वहां नारद मुनि आतें हैं और कहते हैं

क्या है खाटू श्याम जी के बाणों का रहस्य ?

नारद == नारायण नारायण, प्रभु नारायण और माता लक्ष्मी को मेरा प्रमाण

लक्ष्मी== नारायण साथ में,,, नारद मुनि को आशीर्वाद देते हैं, और बैकुंठ लोक आने का कारण पूछते हैं कि

नारायण== नारद मुनि आप यहाँ ? बिना कोई सूचना दिए कोई आवश्यक कार्य ?

नारद== नारायण नारायण, प्रभु मैं तो बस यहाँ से गुजर रहा था तो सोचा आपके और माता के दर्शन करते चलु,इसलिए आ गया प्रभु,किंतु आप दोनों कुछ चिंतित दिखाई दे रहें हैं? कोई आपदा आन पड़ी है क्या प्रभु ??? 

नारायण== नहीं नहीं नारद मुनि हम तो बस तीनों लोकों की लीलाओं को देख रहें थे, तभी देवी लक्ष्मी ने पृथ्वी लोक पर जाने की इक्षा जताई है,

नारद == तो इसमें समस्या क्या है प्रभु, माता लक्ष्मी के बहाने आप भी भूलोक की यात्रा कर आएंगे, मेरी मानिए तो यात्रा कर ही आइए प्रभु

क्यों और कैसे मनाई जाती है लट्ठमार होली और फूलों की होली?

देवर्षी नारद और माता लक्ष्मी के कहने पर प्रभु नारायण माता लक्ष्मी के साथ भूलोक की यात्रा पर निकल जाते हैं किंतु यात्रा करने से पूर्व प्रभु नारायण माता लक्ष्मी को कहते हैं कि

नारायण == देवी चाहे कुछ भी हो जाए आप भूलोक पर किसी भी मानव की सहायता नहीं करेंगे क्योंकि वह अपने पिछले जन्म के कर्मों के हिसाब से इस जन्म में सुख या दुख भोग रहे हैं यह सब विधि का विधान है इसलिए चाहे जो हो जाए आप किसी की भी सहायता नहीं करेंगे

देवी लक्ष्मी प्रभु नारायण की शर्त को मान लेते हैं और भूलोक की यात्रा पर निकल जाते हैं भूलोक की यात्रा के दौरान देवी लक्ष्मी तरह-तरह के पहाड़ झरने फूल पक्षी और जानवर देखकर अति प्रसन्न होती हैं, देवी लक्ष्मी को भूल लोक पर कुछ समय और बिताने का मन करता है जिसके लिए वह प्रभु नारायण से कहती है कि

क्यों मनाई जाती है होलिका दहन क्या है इसके पीछे की कथा

लक्ष्मी== प्रभु मुझे भूलोक पर कुछ समय और व्यतीत करना है क्या मैं यहां कुछ समय के लिए और रह सकती हूं इस पर प्रभु नारायण देवी लक्ष्मी को उत्तर देते हुए कहते है

नारायण== ठीक है देवी आप फूलों पर कुछ समय और व्यतीत कर सकते हैं किंतु मुझे दिए वचन को याद रखिएगा और किसी भी मानव की सहायता मत कीजिएगा,,,

 इतना कहते ही प्रभु नारायण अंतर्ध्यान हो जाते हैं और देवी लक्ष्मी भूलोक की यात्रा पुनः प्रारंभ कर देती है,,,

तभी देवी लक्ष्मी नीचे पृथ्वी पर दिखती है कि एक बड़ा ही गरीब आदमी एक पेड़ के नीचे बैठा होता है और कुछ मटके और मिट्टी से बने बर्तन बेचने की कोशिश कर रहा होता है 
गरीबी के चलते उस आदमी की आंखें धसी होती है छाती की हड्डी बाहर झांक रहे होती है पेट और पीठ एक समान हुए पड़े होते हैं पर शरीर पर एक मेला फटा पुराना बनियान पहले होता है,,, वह आदमी पेड़ के नीचे अकेले नहीं होता बल्कि उसके तीन छोटे-छोटे बच्चे भी उसी सेल के पास अपने पिता की सहायता कर रहे होते हैं लेकिन कोई भी आदमी उनसे कुछ भी सामान नहीं खरीदता है

खाटू श्याम मेला फाल्गुन माह में क्यों लगता है ?

सुबह से शाम हो जाती है और उनका एक भी बर्तन नहीं दिखता है जिसके चलते बच्चे भूखे रह जाते हैं और भूख से रोना शुरू कर देते हैं देवी लक्ष्मी से यह सब देखा नहीं जाता है और वह पृथ्वी पर उतर कर एक साधारण स्त्री का रूप लेकर उस गरीब आदमी के पास जाती है और कहती है

लक्ष्मी == भैया यह मटका कितने का दिया

गरीब आदमी== ₹10 में मालकिन

देवी लक्ष्मी== ठीक है दो मटके दे दो

मटका खरीदने के बदले में देवी लक्ष्मी उस गरीब आदमी को कुछ सिक्के देती है जिसे वह गरीब आदमी एक मटके में रख लेता है और अपने घर चला जाता है और अपने बच्चों के लिए कुछ भोजन लाता है और साथ बैठकर रूखा सूखा भोजन करता है

देवी लक्ष्मी उन बच्चों को खाते देख प्रसन्न हो रही होती है तभी वहां भगवान नारायण प्रकट होते हैं और कहते हैं कि

वीर बर्बरीक कैसे बने हारे के सहारे बाबा श्याम

नारायण== देवी अपने विधि के विधान को बदला है और मेरी आज्ञा का उल्लंघन किया है इसलिए अब आपको दंड भुगतना ही होगा

देवी लक्ष्मी== प्रभु मुझसे भूल हो गई कृपया मुझे क्षमा करें

लेकिन प्रभु नारायण कहते हैं== देवी आपने विधि के विधान को बदला है आपको दंड भुगतना ही होगा,,,

तब देवी लक्ष्मी उदास मन से कहते हैं ठीक है प्रभु जैसी आपकी इच्छा लेकिन दंड स्वरूप मुझे करना क्या होगा

इस पर प्रभु नारायण कहते हैं देवी आपको 3 वर्षों तक किसी गरीब के घर में नौकरानी बनकर रहना होगा,,, देवी लक्ष्मी इस दंड को भुगतने के लिए तैयार हो जाती है और अगले ही क्षण वह एक गरीब उसे छोटी बच्ची का वेश बनाकर उसके दरवाजे पर जाकर खड़ी हो जाती है 

क्या है रावण के दस सिर होने का रहस्य

तभी वह गरीब आदमी माता लक्ष्मी को देखता है और कहता है

गरीब आदमी == कौन हो तुम और इतनी रात को यहां क्या कर रही हो??

लक्ष्मी ==  मेरा नाम लक्ष्मी है और मेरा दुनिया में कोई नहीं क्या आप मुझे कुछ खाने को दे सकते हैं बदले में मैं आपके घर का सारा काम कर दिया करूंगी

यह सुनकर वह गरीब आदमी कुछ पल सोचता है और कहता है 
गरीब आदमी == देखो बिटिया हम धनी तो नहीं हैं लेकिन जो रुखा सुखा हम खाते हैं वह तुम्हें भी खिला सकते हैं तो तुम चाहो तो यहां जिंदगी भर रह सकती हो

इतना कहते ही वह गरीब आदमी माता लक्ष्मी को अंदर ले जाता है और खाने के लिए देता है 

अगले ही दिन से माता लक्ष्मी गरीब आदमी के सभी कामों में हाथ बढ़ाना शुरू कर देती है माता लक्ष्मी उसके साथ बैठकर मिट्टी के बर्तन और दीए बनाने शुरू कर देती हैं,,,

क्यों श्री हनुमान जी ने चीरा अपना सीना ?

लक्ष्मी के बनाए मिट्टी के बर्तन किसी संगमरमर से कम नहीं लग रहे थे साथ ही लक्ष्मी ज्योति मूर्तियां बनाती थी वह ऐसी लगती थी जैसे वो अभी बोल पड़ेगी इसलिए धीरे-धीरे गरीब आदमी की सभी मिट्टी की बनी बर्तन और मूर्तियां बिक्री शुरू हो गई और कुछ ही समय बाद वह गरीब आदमी धनवान होने लगा और कुछ समय बाद अपने एरिया का सेठ बन गया

तभी 1 दिन उस आदमी और उसके बच्चों ने यह फैसला किया कि उनकी जिंदगी में यह बदलाव लक्ष्मी के आने के बाद ही हुआ है इसलिए वह लक्ष्मी के लिए ढेर सारे गहने कपड़े और मिठाई लेकर उसके कमरे में गए लेकिन कमरे में जाते हैं उन्होंने देखा कि कमरा तो खाली पड़ा हुआ है

अभी वह सब लक्ष्मी को आवाज देना शुरू करते हैं 
गरीब आदमी == लक्ष्मी तुम कहाँ हो 
उसके बच्चे == लक्ष्मी तुम कहाँ हो 

हनुमान जी को बजरंग बली क्यों कहते है

और देखते हैं कुछ ही पल बाद एक दिव्य रोशनी से मां लक्ष्मी साक्षात प्रकट होती है जिसे देखते ही वह आदमी समझ जाता है कि यही वह लक्ष्मी है जो बीते 3 वर्षों से उसके यहां नौकरानी बन कर रह रही थी

यह देखते ही वह आदमी माता लक्ष्मी के चरणों में गिर जाता है और उसे क्षमा याचना करता है

गरीब आदमी== मां मुझे क्षमा कर दीजिए मैंने आपको पहचाना नहीं और आपसे मैंने मजदूरी करवाई

लक्ष्मी == कोई बात नहीं पुत्र इसमें तुम्हारी कोई गलती नहीं है,,, यह सब तो विधि का विधान है

माता लक्ष्मी को साक्षात देखने के बाद आदमी और उसके बच्चे माता लक्ष्मी को प्रणाम करते हैं और उनसे आशीर्वाद की कामना करते हैं इस पर देवी लक्ष्मी उन्हें सदा धनवान रहने का आशीर्वाद देकर वहां से बैकुंठ धाम की ओर निकल पड़ती है,,,
