अक्रूर जी और श्री कृष्ण की कहानी

बात उस समय की है जब श्री कृष्ण का जन्म नहीं हुआ था। कंस ने आकाशवाणी को सुनकर अपने पिता राजा उग्रसेन काे बंदी बना लिया था और खुद राजा बन बैठा था। अक्रूर जी उन्हीं के दरबार में मंत्री के पद पर आसीन थे। रिश्ते में अक्रूर जी वासुदेव के भाई थे। इस नाते से वह श्री कृष्ण के काका थे। इतना ही नहीं अक्रूर जी को श्रीकृष्ण अपना गुरु भी मानते थे।

जब कंस ने नारद मुनी के मुंह से सुना कि कृष्ण वृंदावन में रह रहे हैं, तो उन्हें मारने के विचार से कंस ने अक्रूर जी को अपने पास बुलाया। उसने अक्रूर जी के हाथ निमंत्रण भेज कृष्ण और उनके बड़े भाई बलराम को मथुरा बुलाया।

अक्रूर जी ने वृंदावन पहुंचकर श्री कृष्ण को अपना परिचय दिया और कंस के द्वारा किए जाने वाले अत्याचार के बारे में उन्हें बताया। साथ ही आकाशवाणी के बारे में भी श्रीकृष्ण को बताया कि उन्हीं के हाथों कंस का वध होगा।

अक्रूर जी की बात सुनकर श्रीकृष्ण और बलराम उनके साथ कंस के उत्सव में शामिल होने के लिए निकल पडे़। रास्ते में अक्रूर जी ने कृष्ण और बलराम को कंस के बारे में और युद्धकला के बारे में बहुत सारी जानकारियां दी। इस वजह से श्रीकृष्ण ने उन्हें अपना गुरु मान लिया था।

मथुरा पहुंचने के बाद श्रीकृष्ण ने कंस को मार गिराया और मथुरा के सिंहासन पर वापस राजा उग्रसेन को बैठा दिया और अक्रूर जी को हस्तिनापुर भेज दिया।

कुछ समय के बाद कृष्ण ने अपनी द्वारका नगरी की स्थापना की। वहां पर अक्रूर जी पांडवों का संदेश लेकर आए कि कौरवों के साथ युद्ध में उन्हें आपकी सहायता चाहिए। इस पर कृष्ण ने पांडवों का साथ दिया, जिससे वो महाभारत का युद्ध जीत सके।

कहा जाता है कि अक्रूर जी के पास एक स्यमंतक नामक मणि थी। वह मणि जिसके पास रहती थी, वहां पर कभी भी अकाल नहीं पड़ता था। महाभारत के युद्ध के बाद अक्रूर जी श्री कृष्ण के साथ द्वारका आ गए थे। जब तक अक्रूर जी द्वारका में रहे, तब तक वहां खेतों में अच्छी फसल होती रही, लेकिन उनके जाते ही वहां अकाल पड़ गया। इसके बाद श्री कृष्ण के आग्रह पर अक्रूर जी वापस द्वारका आए और नगरवासियों के सामने स्यमंतक मणि दिखाई, जिसके बाद श्री कृष्ण पर लगा स्यमंतक मणि की चोरी का आरोप गलत साबित हुआ। बताया जाता है कि इसके कुछ समय के बाद अक्रूर जी ब्रह्म तत्व में लीन हो गए थे।

After this, on the request of Shri Krishna, Akrur ji returned to Dwarka and showed the Syamantaka gem in front of the townspeople, after which the allegation of stealing the Syamantaka gem against Shri Krishna was proved wrong. It is said that after some time, Akrur ji got immersed in the Brahma element.
