काशी विश्वनाथ का इतिहास और इससे जुड़ी कहानी

काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है। यह मंदिर पिछले कई हजार वर्षों से वाराणसी में स्थित है। काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का हिंदू धर्म में एक विशिष्‍ट स्‍थान है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि एक बार इस मंदिर के दर्शन करने और पवित्र गंगा में स्‍नान कर लेने से मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। इस मंदिर में दर्शन करने के लिए आदि शंकराचार्य, सन्त एकनाथ, गोस्‍वामी तुलसीदास सभी का आगमन हुआ है। यहीं पर सन्त एकनाथजी ने वारकरी सम्प्रदाय का महान ग्रन्थ श्रीएकनाथी भागवत लिखकर पूरा किया और काशीनरेश तथा विद्वतजनों द्वारा उस ग्रन्थ की हाथी पर धूमधाम से शोभायात्रा निकाली गयी। महाशिवरात्रि की मध्य रात्रि में प्रमुख मंदिरों से भव्य शोभा यात्रा ढोल नगाड़े इत्यादि के साथ बाबा विश्वनाथ जी के मंदिर तक जाती है। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के दृढ़ संकल्प से काशी कारीडोर के अन्तर्गत काशी विश्वनाथ जी के मंदिर का विस्तार किया गया जो अद्भुत अकल्पनीय साथ ही आश्चर्य जनित भी है प्रत्येक काशी वासियों ने ऐसी परिकल्पना भी नहीं की होगी |माननीय प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी ने 8 मार्च 2019 को काशी विश्वनाथ कारीडोर का शिलान्यास किया गया लगभग 32 महिनों के अनवरत निर्माण कार्य के बाद 13 दिसम्बर 2021 मोदी जी द्वारा लोकार्पण किया गया | ललिता घाट के रास्ते प्रथम भारत माता के दर्शन होते हैं फिर अहिल्या बाई की मूर्ति है आगे चलकर ज्ञानवापी में नंदी जी के दर्शन एवं स्पर्श करने की सुविधा है जो आज के पूर्व संभव नहीं था वही दूसरी ओर काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर न्यास द्वारा विभिन्न प्रकार की सुविधाएं प्राप्त करने हेतु सुगम दर्शन से लेकर रुद्राभिषेक विभिन्न आरती इत्यादि के लिए शुल्कों का प्रावधान कर जिस तरह से जन साधारण विशेष कर नित्य पूजार्चन करने वालों के लिए यह कष्टप्रद है किसी भी ज्योतिर्लिंग में इस तरह का व्यवसायी करण उचित नहीं है| बाबा विश्वनाथ जी के गर्भ गृह में प्रधानमंत्री जी की प्रेरणा से 60 कि. ग्रा.भार के सोने से गर्भ गृह में पत्तर चढ़ाने का कार्य किया गया है वर्तमान समय में ज्ञान वापी कूप नंदी बहुत चर्चा में हैं |

निर्माण
वर्तमान मंदिर का निर्माण महारानी अहिल्या बाई होल्कर द्वारा सन् 1780 में करवाया गया था। बाद में महाराजा रणजीत सिंह द्वारा 1835 में 1000 कि.ग्रा शुद्ध सोने द्वारा बनवाया गया था।

काशी विश्वनाथ का इतिहास

उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी धरती की सबसे पवित्र नदी गंगा के तट पर स्थित यह मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है. भगवान के 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों में शुमार इस मंदिर को विश्वेश्वर मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।

कहा जाता है कि यह मंदिर भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती का आदि स्थान है।

जब देवी पार्वती अपने पिता के घर रह रही थीं जहां उन्हें बिल्कुल अच्छा नहीं लग रहा था. देवी पार्वती ने एक दिन भगवना शिव से उन्हें अपने घर ले जाने के लिए कहा. भगवान शिव ने देवी पार्वती की बात मानकर उन्हें काशी लेकर आए और यहां विश्वनाथ-ज्योतिर्लिंग के रूप में खुद को स्थापित कर लिया.

जिसका जीर्णोद्धार 11 वीं सदी में राजा हरीशचन्द्र ने करवाया था और वर्ष 1194 में मुहम्मद गौरी ने ही इसे तुड़वा दिया था। जिसे एक बार फिर बनाया गया लेकिन वर्ष 1447 में पुनं इसे जौनपुर के सुल्तान महमूद शाह ने तुड़वा दिया।

धारणा

हिन्दू धर्म में कहते हैं कि प्रलयकाल में भी इसका लोप नहीं होता। उस समय भगवान शंकर इसे अपने त्रिशूल पर धारण कर लेते हैं और सृष्टि काल आने पर इसे नीचे उतार देते हैं। यही नहीं, आदि सृष्टि स्थली भी यहीं भूमि बतलायी जाती है। इसी स्थान पर भगवान विष्णु ने सृष्टि उत्पन्न करने की कामना से तपस्या करके आशुतोष को प्रसन्न किया था और फिर उनके शयन करने पर उनके नाभि-कमल से ब्रह्मा उत्पन्न हुए, जिन्होने सारे संसार की रचना की। अगस्त्य मुनि ने भी विश्वेश्वर की बड़ी आराधना की थी और इन्हीं की अर्चना से श्रीवशिष्ठजी तीनों लोकों में पुजित हुए तथा राजर्षि विश्वामित्र ब्रह्मर्षि कहलाये।

परम्परा

धर्म नगरी काशी और सबसे बड़ी बात की आदि देव शंकर की बसायी नगर काशी में सावन महीने का अलग ही महत्व है। यहां सावन महीने में कांवरियों का सैलाब उमड़ता है। सर्वप्रथम काशी के यदुवंशी (Yadav) "चंद्रवंशी गोप सेवा समिति" अपने प्रिय देव बाबा विश्वनाथ के शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक करते हैं। ये परंपरा करीब 90 साल पुरानी है। पहली बार इस परंपरा की शुरूआत 1932 में हुई जो अब तक निर्विवाद् रूप से जारी है। पिछले दो वर्ष कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते चंद्रवंशी गोप सेवा समिति ने सांकेतिक रूप से ही सही पर परंपरा को जीवित रखा और सीमित संख्या में ही बाबा का जलाभिषेक किया। चंद्रवंशी गोप सेवा समिति के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष लालजी यादव बताते हैं कि सन 1932 में पड़े अकाल के समय बाबा विश्वनाथ के जलाभिषेक की परम्परा शुरू हुई थी। तब से अब तक इस परम्परा का निर्वहन निरंतरत जारी है। मान्यता है कि यादव(Ahir) बंधुओं के जलाभिषेक से बाबा प्रसन्न होते हैं फिर वर्षा होती है। पूरा साल धन-धान्य से परिपूर्ण होता है। भारत में वर्ष 1932 में घोर अकाल के दौरान यहां के यदुवंशियों ने बाबा विश्वनाथ का जलाभिषेक किया था। जलाभिषेक होते ही वर्षा शुरू हुई और लगातार तीन दिनों तक होती रही। तभी से हर वर्ष यदुवंशी (यादव) समाज को ही सावन के पहले सोमवार को सर्वप्रथम बाबा का जलाभिषेक करने का अधिकार प्राप्त है।

महिमा

सर्वतीर्थमयी एवं सर्वसंतापहारिणी मोक्षदायिनी काशी की महिमा ऐसी है कि यहां प्राणत्याग करने से ही मुक्ति मिल जाती है। भगवान भोलानाथ मरते हुए प्राणी के कान में तारक-मंत्र का उपदेश करते हैं, जिससे वह आवगमन से छुट जाता है, चाहे मृत-प्राणी कोई भी क्यों न हो। मतस्यपुराण का मत है कि जप, ध्यान और ज्ञान से रहित एवंम दुखों परिपीड़ित जनों के लिये काशीपुरी ही एकमात्र गति है। विश्वेश्वर के आनंद-कानन में पांच मुख्य तीर्थ हैं:-

History And Story Related To Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This temple is located in Varanasi for the last several thousand years. Kashi Vishwanath Temple has a special place in Hinduism. It is believed that one visit to this temple and taking a bath in the holy Ganges leads to salvation. Adi Shankaracharya, Saint Eknath, Goswami Tulsidas have all come to visit this temple. It was here that Saint Eknathji completed the great book of Varkari community by writing Shri Eknathi Bhagwat and a procession was taken out on the elephant of that book by Kashinaresh and scholars. In the midnight of Mahashivaratri, a grand procession from major temples goes to the temple of Baba Vishwanath ji with drums and drums etc. Due to the determination of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Kashi Vishwanath temple was expanded under the Kashi Corridor, which is wonderful, unimaginable as well as surprising, every Kashi resident would not have imagined such a thing. The foundation stone of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was laid and inaugurated by Modi ji on December 13, 2021, after almost 32 months of continuous construction work. On the way to Lalita Ghat, first there is the darshan of Mother India, then there is the statue of Ahilya Bai, and later there is a facility to see and touch Nandi ji in Gyanvapi, which was not possible before today, on the other hand, Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust has provided various facilities. Provision of fees for easy darshan to Rudrabhishek, various aarti etc., the way it is annoying for the general public, especially those who do daily worship, this kind of commercialization is not appropriate in any Jyotirlinga. In the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Vishwanath ji, with the inspiration of Prime Minister 60 km. The work of offering leaves in the sanctum sanctorum has been done with grams of gold. At present, Gyan Vapi Koop Nandi is very much discussed.

Construction
The present temple was built by Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkar in 1780. It was later built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1835 with 1000 kg of pure gold.

History of Kashi Vishwanath

Located on the banks of the most sacred river Ganga in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of God, is also known as Vishweshwar Temple.

It is said that this temple is the original place of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.

When Goddess Parvati was staying at her father's house where she was not feeling well at all. One day Goddess Parvati asked Lord Shiva to take her to her home. Lord Shiva obeyed Goddess Parvati and brought her to Kashi and established himself here in the form of Vishwanath-Jyotirlinga.

Whose renovation was done by King Harishchandra in the 11th century and in the year 1194 Muhammad Ghori had destroyed it. Which was built once again but in the year 1447, it was broken again by Sultan Mahmud Shah of Jaunpur.

Perception

It is said in Hindu religion that it does not disappear even in the doomsday. At that time Lord Shankar wears it on his trishul and takes it down when the time of creation comes. Not only this, the original creation place is also called the land here. At this place, Lord Vishnu pleased Ashutosh by doing penance with the desire to create the universe, and then when he slept, Brahma was born from his navel-lotus, who created the whole world. Agastya Muni also worshiped Vishweshwar a lot and by worshiping him, Shri Vashishthaji was worshiped in all the three worlds and Rajarshi Vishwamitra was called Brahmarshi.

Tradition

The month of Sawan has a different importance in Kashi, the city of religion and most importantly, in Kashi, the city inhabited by Adi Dev Shankar. Here in the month of Savan, there is a flood of Kanwariyas. First of all Yaduvanshi (Yadav) of Kashi "Chandravanshi Gop Seva Samiti" perform Jalabhishek on Shivling of their beloved Dev Baba Vishwanath. This tradition is about 90 years old. For the first time this tradition started in 1932 which continues undisputed till now. In the last two years, due to Corona infection, the Chandravanshi Gop Seva Samiti symbolically kept the tradition alive and performed Jalabhishek of Baba in limited numbers. State President of Chandravanshi Gop Seva Samiti, Lalji Yadav says that the tradition of Jalabhishek of Baba Vishwanath started in 1932 during the famine. Since then, the discharge of this tradition continues continuously. It is believed that Baba is pleased with the Jalabhishek of Yadav (Ahir) brothers and then it rains. The whole year is full of wealth and grains. During the severe famine in India in the year 1932, the Yaduvanshis of this place performed Jalabhishek of Baba Vishwanath. It started raining as soon as the Jalabhishek happened and continued for three days. Since then, every year Yaduvanshi (Yadav) community has got the right to perform Jalabhishek of Baba first on the first Monday of Sawan.

Glory

The glory of Kashi, the most sacred and all-conquering Mokshadayini, is such that salvation is attained only by sacrificing one's life here. Lord Bholanath preaches Tarak-Mantra in the ear of the dying creature, so that it is freed from the transit, no matter what the dead creature may be. Matsyapuran believes that Kashipuri is the only way for people who are devoid of chanting, meditation and knowledge and are afflicted with sorrows. There are five main pilgrimages in Vishweshwar's Ananda-Kanan:-
