श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण की सप्ताह श्रवण विधि – 

श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण का आयोजन प्रायः सभी लोगो के सहयोग और उनके धन के द्वारा ही होता है। सबसे पहले किसी विद्वान ज्योतिषी को बुलाकर शुभ मुहूर्त के बारे में पूछना चाहिए। फिर जिस प्रकार एक गरीब कन्या की विवाह के लिए धन एकत्रित किया जाता है वैसे ही सभी लोगो का सहयोग लेना चाहिए।

उन वैष्णव, हरिकीर्तन के प्रेम, और साधु सन्तु को विशेष तौर पर बुलाये जो इसके लिए लालायित रहते है। उनके पास श्रीमद् भागवत कथा पुराण का यह निमंत्रण पत्र अवश्य भेजे। जो इस प्रकार लिखा हो –

हे महानुभावो ! – हमारे यहाँ सात दिन तक सत्पुरुषों का बड़ा दुर्लभ समागम होगा और अपूर्व रसमयी श्रीमदभागवत कथा होगी। आप लोग इस श्रीभगवद रसके रसिक है। अतः श्रीमद भागवत कथा का रसामृत पान करने के लिए प्रेमपूर्वक शीघ्र पधारने की कृपा करे। यदि आपको अवकाश न हो तब भी आपको समय निकालना चाहिए। क्युकी यहाँ का तो एक क्षण भी बड़ा दुर्लभ है। ”
इस प्रकार उन्हें विनयपूर्वक आमंत्रित करे।
